SolarWinds hackers reviewed Microsoft’s source code

Solarwinds said 18,000 customers were affected by the hack, including several Fortune 500 companies and several government agencies.

The massive operation was exposed earlier this month when cybersecurity firm FireEye revealed that it had been hacked. FireEye CEO Kevin Mandia said the attack was „carried out by a country with first-class offensive capabilities“.
