GTA 5 actors recreate Franklin’s roast in real life

Grand Theft Auto V He didn’t stop being famous – seriously, just look at 2020 sales numbers – It still generates new memes. We are now in the era of Franklin Lamar roasting, as mods and video editors continue to find new ways to recreate the scene with increasingly silly adjustments. Things have now come to their natural conclusion: the actors behind Franklin and Lamar recreate the scene in real life.

Entertainment is all you could wish for. Slink Johnson as Lamar delivers his lines with all the colorful influence he returned to in 2013, and Solo Fontino is as incredible in live action as it is in motion capture. They even dress appropriately, and do the scene on a quiet street in what definitely looks like Los Angeles.

The scene was created in partnership with PlayStation Haven, who works with Slink Johnson on GTA 5 Reality Comparison Series. You’ll see these videos of the actor exploring the real-life locations that inspired the fictional city of Los Santos.
